how to get to Hazelhead park



There will be a number of buses heading to and from Sessions Beer and Gin Festival throughout the day and evening from the city centre.
Check the Aberdeen City Council website for details.



There are a number of parking spaces by Hazlehead Park, however we advise travelling via public transport where possible so you can enjoy the drinks on offer at Sessions Beer and Gin festival.

1. Where is the event located and how do I get there?
The event is located at Hazlehead Playing Fields, close to Hazlehead Park. Details on how to get there can be found at the top of this page.

2. What are the session times?
• Session 1: Friday – 5pm to 11.30pm
• Session 2: Saturday – 1pm to 11.30pm

3. Can children attend?
Sessions Beer Festival is only open to visitors over the age of 18.

4. Alcohol policy
A zero-tolerance policy for any underage drinking will be in operation and all bars will challenge anyone lucky enough to look under 25, so don’t forget your ID.

5. Drugs policy
Please note that any possession or use of illegal substances will not be condoned and any offending persons will be removed from the festival and reported to police in accordance with national guidelines.
Likewise, anti-social and illegal behaviour will not be tolerated and any visitors deemed to be acting in this way will be evicted from the site.
We’re sure you’ll be having such a great time that none of this will be necessary though…..

6. Will there be cash machines/ATMS?
Cash machines will not be available on-site, however tokens can be purchased during Sessions using a debit or credit card.

7. Can I buy tickets at the door?
No, all tickets must be purchased in advance via the website and electronic or print copies must be shown at the entrance.

8. Will there be parking?
There is some parking in the surrounding areas however we would advise you to travel via public transport, or via the bus service provided. Details of services can be found at the top of this page.

9. What kind of food and drinks will be available?

10. Can I bring my own food/drink with me?
No, any food or drink purchased out with the festival site will not be permitted.
